Tickled Pink

Happy Valentine's Day! I know everyone is not a big fan of this holiday now, but remember how cool it was back in the day? I was just talking to my 6 year old nephew about Valentine's Day, and it took me back in time. I remember my mom cooking heart shaped cakes for school while I got my pre-packaged cards ready. I was decorating our shoe boxes in doilies, rhinestones, red foil hearts and hot pink paper. And then everyone got a box full of Valentine's cards, not to mention the yummy candy. Those were the days!

This year, you may be cutting back on candy and avoiding the card isle at Walgreen's. But do yourself a favor, and don't deny Valentine's pink color palette. According to Nordstrom, you are indulging in spring's vivid color trend when you opt for shades of bright pink like fuchsia. Here are some pieces to get you started.

Great posting! I love the tops from Charlotte Russe. The tunic by Windsor has my name all over it!
Coming back for more tomorrow!
